I’m writing today with some bittersweet news—after more than 9 years at Ligature Creative, I’ve decided to step down.

This is a decision that comes after a tremendous amount of consideration. It was one of the more difficult decisions I’ve made in my career and life. I have a lot of comfort knowing that our team is still in place and still doing incredible work. Most importantly, I leave knowing that Ligature is in Matt’s very capable hands. The energy and intention he brings to his work has been the soul of Ligature since we founded and he’s the most caring leader I’ve ever known.

I’m so proud of the work we’ve done since we started the company on nights and weekends in Matt’s dining room. More than anything, I’m proud of our team, the individuals who adopted Ligature’s mission to do good work and lived our company values on a daily basis. I’ve learned an invaluable amount from each of them.

I’ll still be around and available. My official position as I step back is now Co-Founder, Strategic Advisor. The next step for me is as the director of product design at a health tech company, and more importantly to focus my energies on my family and the baby boy Jordan and I will be welcoming into the world this December.
