Tamara Arredondo

Project Manager

Tamara is Ligature’s organizational guru. Passionately committed to racial justice, gender equality, and the inclusive arts/disability community, her focus on recognizing and empathizing with diverse experiences makes her an ace connector for clients and co-workers. When she’s not managing our Slack channels or keeping project meetings moving, she can usually be found running laps in the woods with her dog, absorbing books about other cultures, listening to podcasts, or showing off her overly-competitive streak with a board game.

A previous experience with burnout at an organization she loved pushed Tam to reevaluate her boundaries and prioritize her own needs to better deliver for others. Now, in her role as a project manager, she brings her extensive experience as an in-house nonprofit marketer and a respect for healthy professional environments to her work each day. (The only thing she doesn’t bring are good dance skills, contrary to her years of childhood ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish dance training.)

If I could redo college, I would study anthropology and sociology.

Before hooking up with Ligature, Tam held a variety of marketing management roles with Phamaly Theatre Company and other Denver-area arts organizations. She received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing from Truman State University in Missouri, where she’s originally from.
