Kate Fleming

Project Manager

A curious problem solver, Kate brings her authentic and vulnerable self to work every day. She loves challenges that provide growth opportunities and is passionate about social justice, eliminating food scarcity, and ensuring that healthy, local food is accessible to all.

When she’s not keeping track of our team, our clients, and all their myriad projects, you can find this laugh-loving Coloradan in the foothills outside Fort Collins training for a trail marathon, mountain biking, paddleboarding or volunteering with Wildlands Restoration maintaining and revitalizing many public trails.

Thanks to her grandmother, Kate’s first memorable arts encounter was in a summer theatre production of Rapunzel at age 8. From that experience, she carries lessons of teamwork and cultivating empathy through storytelling with her today. Her love of stories continues with her insatiable reading habit, devouring diverse genres of books.

Before joining the Ligature team, Kate worked in events, marketing and helped staff volunteers for nonprofits. Outside the office, she and her wife, Carmen, own and operate Modern Epicurean, an online farm-to-fridge grocer in Northern Colorado to make local food accessible and affordable. Kate graduated from Colorado State University with BA in Communications and Political Science and earned her certificate in full-stack development from the University of Denver.
